Rookery Solar Farm will help combat climate change and improve the UK’s energy security by generating clean, renewable energy. The solar farm would have a solar capacity of 49.9MW along with a Battery Storage Facility. This is equivalent to meeting the annual electricity needs of approximately 13,000 average UK homes. This is the equivalent of saving approximately 8,700 tonnes of CO2 each year, the equivalent of taking around 5,500 cars off the road.
